Child Care Business Coach & Multi-Site Owner
Donna Jensen is a Child Care Business Coach for the Child Care Success Company. Donna brings over 30 years of experience to this role. She began as an in-home child care provider and then became a founding director of a large church-based center licensed for 500 students. In 2003, she opened her own center, which quickly expanded. She currently owns three child development centers called The Learning Station and is still in expansion mode with one more center on the way. Before joining the CCSC team, Donna had been a long-time member of the Child Care Success Academy and was the recipient of the “Owner of the Year” award in 2017.
Being part of the CCSA has allowed Donna to work on her business instead of in her business. This has enabled financial and personal freedom to a whole new level. Donna has a passion for helping people. She is an active volunteer at her church and with their youth group and loves serving others. She has loved being surrounded by others in the same field with the same goals and dreams. Seeing so many other members go from being distraught to dynamic has been very inspiring to her.
Donna knows that in order to positively influence the lives of children in early education programs, the transformation must begin with the owners. That is why she is ready to use her passion and knowledge to transform the lives and businesses of members of the Academy. She is excited to become a part of their journey and help them go from feeling helpless and stressed in their business to seeing success and security.
Donna has been married for 36 years to her husband, Jeff, who keeps her and anyone around them laughing most of the time. They have four awesome sons (three of whom are married to wonderful women) and six adorable grandsons (and she hopes for many more to come). Donna is a self-proclaimed cruise-aholic and loves to travel with her family and friends as often as possible.
