Sharita Brown is a devoted wife to a supportive husband (Kenneth) and a biological mother to six children, including two sets of twins, as well as a bonus mother to four. With a total of ten children, she embodies her experience as an early childhood educator in her daily life, living her passion out loud at home.
Her journey in education began early, as she played various roles in her parents’ basement, teacher, student, and even principal, using HVAC vents as an intercom system to deliver “morning announcements” to her two older sisters. This imaginative experience fired up her constant passion for working with children.
A proud alumna of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Sharita earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Ecology with a concentration in Child Development. After college, she connected with her now-business partner, affectionately referred to as her “business bae,” to serve in and establish learning centers in Baltimore City. Throughout her career, she has performed in numerous roles, including teacher, after-school leader, transportation driver, and director, before ultimately becoming a business partner. This diverse experience has allowed her to connect meaningfully with children, families, staff, and community leaders.
With over 15 years of direct experience in the early childhood industry and a heart for childcare since the age of seven, Sharita is passionate about inspiring educators, leaders, and business owners to adopt a 3-dimensional growth mindset. She believes in creating cultures that empower and influence the children, families, and staff she serves.
Sharita emphasizes the principle that “Better people make people better” in the world. This belief drives her to be intentional in her relationships, interactions, and commitments to supporting others in becoming better versions of themselves. She also recognizes that effective leadership stems from continuous learning, and she remains dedicated to her own education to enhance her skills as a servant leader.
Honored to serve as a coach, Sharita is eager to connect with others and inspire them on their journeys.
